We received three Letters of Intent for the three open full term positions, and two Letters of Intent for the two open half term positions. Being that we have the same number of candidates as we have open seats, we do not need to hold an election. The candidates will be elected by virtue of being the only ones who filed to run.
The authority of the existing five Commissioners expires on Saturday, March 5th, 2022. The new Commissioners will be sworn in by Levy Court Commissioner Allan Angel at 6:30 pm. at the Little Creek Fire Hall, prior to the regularly scheduled Town Council Meeting, which will follow at 7:00 pm. and also be held at the Little Creek Fire Hall.
